ingredients
- 1/4 cup hot water
- 1/2 teaspoon matcha
- 1/3 cup oat milk
- 1/2 tablespoon maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
Method
Step 1
Add hot water to a bowl or Tupperware container. Sift matcha through a fine mesh strainer (this is a must so it’s not clumpy). Use a matcha whisk to combine it into a smooth tea.
Step 2
Add in the oat milk and maple syrup, stir, and then add in the chia seeds. Stir again and let sit for 5 minutes until the chia seeds form a crust on the top. Give it another good stir to break apart the chia seeds, put a cover on top, and place in the fridge overnight.
Step 3
In the morning, give it a stir and add more oat milk if it is too thick for your liking. Add your toppings and enjoy!
