The Ultimate Entertaining Event

with DeLallo Foods

A charcuterie board is something that any eye willingly or unwillingly gravitates towards. The variety of colors, shapes, smells, and textures that permeate your senses make them a favorite at any gathering. For our Ultimate Entertaining Event with DeLallo, we created an epic charcuterie centerpiece that stretched 7 feet by 5 feet in length, allowing a cornucopia of DeLallo charcuterie, antipasti, cheeses, jams, crackers and a mountain of accoutrements to shine in all its glory.

Not only were the sweet and salty snacks in abundance, but the crew also whipped up a variety of fall side dishes and dips to accompany the spectacular charcuterie. There was a fall Panzanella salad bursting with soft and earthy butternut squash, vegetal lacinato kale and DeLallo’s Simply Pesto. There were tender and subtly sweet slab pies filled with either Apricot or Sour Cherry Spread, bubbling away in its flaky pie crust case. And who could forget the apple cheddar focaccia with honey and Sliced Prosciutto.

Walking through the room, you couldn't miss the constant buzz of chatter regarding the monumental grazing table. Whether it was DeLallo’s Premium Prosciutto, the fruity, yet meaty Castelvetrano olives (pitted for ease of consumption, phew), the sweet, almost caramel-like Fig Spread, or the crunchy, perfectly salted Grissini Breadsticks. This table truly encompassed everything one hopes for when it comes to snacking on olives, meats, antipasti, and cheeses.

The bar was also a point of conversation as each glass of wine, kindly provided by Bonterra Organic Vineyards, was served with an olive or antipasti pairing, ranging from small, briny Kalamata’s in a Greek Feta Salad to ripe, bright green Olives Gigante.

And what would a party be without a raw bar? We were excited to work with our friends at OysterPartyBK to create a spectacular oyster spread for the evening.

As the night progressed, the towers of DeLallo Havarti, the pyramids of Prince Omar’s Grape Leaves, huge bowls of olives, dishes filled with jam, rosettes of prosciutto, were all dismantled in pure joy and hunger. After devouring more cheese and meat than they thought possible, every guest left with a sampling of items from the famed charcuterie board of earlier hours. Sour cherry spread from the slab pies, or the bright and briny olives from the grazing table, spicy calabrese salami, and the delicious sesame grissini were among a few options.

Thank you to DeLallo for sponsoring this event and providing such amazing products to showcase. We also could not have done it without Bonterra Organic Vineyards, who provided the perfect wine accompaniments to our feast.

Also a big shoutout to our contest winner Andrea Potischman for capturing such a beautiful photo of her charcuterie board, joining us at the event, and sharing her tips for creating a perfect board!
