ingredients

  • 1 piece Red Pepper
  • 2 cups Boiled and cooled Chickpeas
  • 3 tablespoon Tahini
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Roasted Cumin Powder
  • 7 pieces Garlic Cloves
  • 2 tablespoon Hemp Seed Oil/ Extra Virgin Olive Oil + Extra for Garnishing
  • 1 tablespoon Ice Cold Water
  • To Taste Salt
  • to garnish Pomegranate Arilis
  • to garnish Mint Leaves

Method

  • Step 1

    In an open flame, char the bell pepper on all sides until its black. Once done let it cool down

  • Step 2

    Dip it in water and remove the black skin. Roughly chop the bell pepper

  • Step 3

    In a blender add the bell pepper, chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, cumin powder, garlic, salt, hemp seed oil or extra virgin olive oil and ice cold water and blend it into a paste

  • Step 4

    Transfer it into bowl. Garnish with hemp seed oil or extra virgin olive oil

  • Step 5

    Finish off with mint leaves and pomegranate right before serving and enjoy!
