- 1 piece Red Pepper
- 2 cups Boiled and cooled Chickpeas
- 3 tablespoon Tahini
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 1 teaspoon Roasted Cumin Powder
- 7 pieces Garlic Cloves
- 2 tablespoon Hemp Seed Oil/ Extra Virgin Olive Oil + Extra for Garnishing
- 1 tablespoon Ice Cold Water
- To Taste Salt
- to garnish Pomegranate Arilis
- to garnish Mint Leaves
Method
Step 1
In an open flame, char the bell pepper on all sides until its black. Once done let it cool down
Step 2
Dip it in water and remove the black skin. Roughly chop the bell pepper
Step 3
In a blender add the bell pepper, chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, cumin powder, garlic, salt, hemp seed oil or extra virgin olive oil and ice cold water and blend it into a paste
Step 4
Transfer it into bowl. Garnish with hemp seed oil or extra virgin olive oil
Step 5
Finish off with mint leaves and pomegranate right before serving and enjoy!
