ingredients
- 250 gram tofu
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- salt
- black pepper
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp tabasco
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 clove of garlic (minced)
- 1 piece ginger (minced)
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- To Taste chives
Method
Step 1
Cut the tofu into squares, sprinkle with salt, pepper and cornstarch. Stir well, so that all the pieces of tofu have a layer of cornstarch.
Step 2
Sauté the tofu in sesame oil until golden brown on all sides.
Step 3
Add the remaining ingredients and let the flavours develop. Serve with rice and sprinkled with more sesame seeds and chopped chives.
