ingredients
- 250 g Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 Pinch of Salt
- 120 g butter
- 90 Sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp Almond Exrtact
- 20 peeled Almonds
- 1 beaten Egg-yolk
Method
Step 1
Mix the flour with baking powder and salt. In a bowl beat butter and sugar until creamy, then add egg and almond extract.
Step 2
Add the flour mix and knead quickly together. Form a roll and put into cling-foil. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Step 3
Then cut the roll into approx. 20 pieces and roll each piece into a ball. Top each with one almond and brush with the egg-yolk.
Step 4
Bake at 160 C for 20 minutes. You can keep the cookies for a few weeks in an airtight box.
