Brussels Sprouts with Bacon

"I love Brussels Sprouts and could eat them everyday. This time I cooked them with bacon bits and au gratin them with some cheese. It was so yummy!"

ingredients

  • 500 g Brussels Sprouts
  • 100 g Bacon Bits
  • 20 g Butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 20 ml Whipping Cream
  • 10 g grated Parmesan
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Method

  • Step 1

    Wash the Brussels sprouts and make a cut into the stem. Cook them in salted water for 4 minutes, then drain them.

  • Step 2

    Fry the bacon and garlic in a wide pan, then add the butter and the Brussels sprouts. Season very well.

  • Step 3

    Now add the whipping cream and let cook for 2 minutes. Pour them into a greased gratin dish.

  • Step 4

    Bake in the oven at 180 C for 20 minutes and serve.
