Soothing Turmeric Latte
Turmeric makes you a better person. Immune boosting, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, cancer fighting, teeth whitening, warming and delicious. Pop it in your smoothie, in a curry/soup, or make a soothing turmeric latte. Or don't (but you'll feel a little less super human without it).

Pan fried cauliflower and black rice salad with pistachio dukkah and pomegrante seeds Ingredients

1/2 cup black rice, soaked overnight in water
1/2 head cauliflower, sliced into small florets
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 Tbsp coconut oil
1 cup fresh green herbs, chopped roughly (parsley, mint and coriander work well)
Seeds from 1/2 pomegranate
1 Tbsp baby capers
6 fresh strawberries, sliced
1 Tbsp sunflower seeds
1 Tbsp pepitas
2 Tbsp pistachio dukkah


50% Extra virgin olive oil
50% Raspberry vinegrette (or pomegranate molasses)


1. Drain rice,rinse well and cook according to packet instructions
2. Meanwhile, heat coconut oil in a frypan and add cumin. Cook on low until fragrant (about 1 minute) then add cauliflower, and cook for a further 4-5 minutes, until tender. Transfer to a bowl.
3. Wipe clean the frypan and add sunflower seeds, pepitas and dukkah. Dry roast over a medium heat, stirring through out (be careful not to burn- this should only take 1-2 minutes), then transfer to the cauliflower bowl.
4. Add remaining ingredients (including the cooked rice) to the bowl, and toss to combine.
5. Serve with above dressing, avocado and friends!
