Jalapeño Mac and Cheese Grilled Cheese

ingredients
- 3 jalapeños, thinly sliced and seeded if desired
- Vegan butter, as needed
- 8 slices of white bread or bread of choice, buttered
- 10 ounce box Annie's Organic Vegan Cheddar Mac and Cheese
- 1/3 cup milk of choice
Method
Step 1
Add sliced jalapeños to a lightly buttered skillet and sauté over medium heat until golden brown on all sides, set aside.
Step 2
Bring 6 cups of water to a boil in a medium saucepan and add Annie’s Organic Vegan Mac pasta. Cook until al-dente, about 8-10 minutes. Once cooked, drain pasta through a colander.
Step 3
Add ⅓ cups non-dairy milk to warm in the sauce pan. Add Annie’s Organic Vegan Mac seasoning, stir to combine and cook for 5 mins. Return pasta to sauce pan, stir to combine and set aside.
Step 4
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Spread vegan butter on sliced bread and toast both sides of the bread until golden brown.
Step 5
To assemble the sandwich, add the prepared macaroni and jalapenos (as desired) to one slice of bread. Close the sandwich with the remaining slice and enjoy!
