These homemade Turkish beef kabobs are perfect for summer! Serve them in a pita or with salad and rice.

ingredients

  • 2 pounds chuck roast, cut into chunks
  • 6-8 garlic cloves
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small onion
  • 1/2 red bell pepper
  • 1 green chili
  • Handful of parsley
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon sumac
  • Saffron oil spray, optional

Method

  • Step 1

    Finely chop onion, red bell pepper, green chili and parsley in the mini chopper (squeeze out all the water).

  • Step 2

    Then grind your meat with all the spices (except sumac), oil and garlic.

  • Step 3

    Combine everything together, add sumac and mix well. Now shape kabaobs on your skewers, and spray with the optional saffron oil. BBQ or Bake them at 400 degrees for 12-13 minutes on each side.
