Made these vegan French toasts with the vegan egg by @eatjust which was gifted to me. Posting the recipe for you below. If you don’t have vegan egg, you can replace it with 1 tsp of flax meal and 1 tsp of corn starch. Use a day old bread, preferably French bread, ciabatta or baguette."

A Note from Feedfeed
Make french toast but make it vegan with a few pantry staples like nut milk, spices and citrus zest to create a deliciously aromatic breakfast. Serve with in season berries and organic fruit.

ingredients
- 6 slices of day old bread
- vegan butter for cooking, as needed
- 1 1/3 cup almond or soy milk
- 1/2 cup Eat Just Vegan Egg, or add 1 tsp of flax meal and 1 tsp of corn starch together and stir it with 4 tbsp of almond milk until smooth then add to the mixture.
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 orange, zested
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- pinch of salt
Method
Step 1
Mix the batter ingredients together set aside for 2 min. Emerge the toast one by one in the batter leave for few seconds and make sure it’s well coated with batter.
Step 2
Over a medium heat melt 1 tsp of vegan butter in a frying pan. Fry the toasts on each side until golden brown. Enjoy with some fresh organic fruits.
