ingredients
- 2 medium-sized chicken breasts
- 4 unsalted butter
- 4 clove garlic
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 grated parmesan
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/3 cup fresh chopped parsley
- 1/2 cup pasta water optional
- Fresh grated black pepper for taste
Method
Step 1
Alfredo pasta is a very easy and quick recipe. When making this dish, it is worth having a list of what you are doing to make the most of your time. You can marinate the chicken breasts a day or a few hours earlier and bake them later in the air fryer, but this is not necessary. Remember to multitask when cooking to ensure that everything is ready at the same time. While the pasta is boiling, I use the air fryer to bake the chicken breasts. This way, both the pasta and the chicken will be ready to serve simultaneously, making the dining experience more enjoyable.
Step 2
Before you start making the sauce, prepare all the ingredients so that you have everything on hand. Chop the garlic into slices, chop the parsley, and grate the parmesan.
Step 3
The next step is to add the water for the linguine. The sauce is quick to make, and the pasta should be added warm to it. Sometimes, you can also add the pasta water to the sauce as it gets thick.
Step 4
Next, melt the butter over low heat. When the butter is completely melted, add the garlic and stir constantly so that it doesn't burn. Don't worry that there's a lot of garlic, and it's not grated or crushed by the press. In this version, there's less chance that it will burn and it will also caramelize and give the dish a beautiful aroma. Believe me, everyone likes the garlic in Alfredo Pasta.
Step 5
I like the butter to burn slightly and take on a slightly brown color. This gives it a slightly nutty flavor that goes perfectly with the parmesan. Once you get the perfect color of butter and garlic, they always go at the same time, as we do it on low heat for about 6 minutes.
Step 6
In the next step, add the cream and mix everything gently so that the cream combines with the butter.
Step 7
Then add the Parmesan and stir vigorously until it dissolves.
Step 8
We transfer the cooked pasta to the pan with the sauce and continue to mix. I always cook the pasta on the burner next to it so I can quickly transfer it to the sauce.
Step 9
If the sauce is very thick, add ½ cup water paste to the sauce and continue to mix. Add parsley so that it is not cooked but fresh, and mix well. In the meantime, the Air Fryer chicken breasts should be roasted. Remove the alfredo pasta from the hot burner and set aside so it doesn't boil any longer. I remove the chicken breasts from the air fryer and cut them into slices. I place them on the pan with the alfredo pasta linguine and serve.
Step 10
Everyone adds what they want more of, whether chicken or pasta, but one thing is for sure: everyone, even my children, fights about those caramelized garlic slices! Enjoy!
