Method

  • Step 1

This is an easy recipe, and I will walk you through it in a few simple steps. For best results, I use an air fryer in 2 temperatures, and cooking time will be 10-12 min.

  • Step 2

Set the air fryer temperatures to 170 degrees C (338 degrees F) and let it heat up.

  • Step 3

Place the onion rings in the air fryer basket in a single layer for proper air circulation. You can place them next to each other as much as possible; there does not have to be much space between them.

  • Step 4

Place the air fryer basket in the preheated air fryer and bake for 4 minutes. During this time, the onions will defrost and bake but will not yet be crispy. Halfway through, turn the onion rings over so that they bake evenly.

  • Step 5

When this time is up, set the air fryer temperatures to 190 degrees C (375 degrees F) and bake without heating for 4 minutes. If you want them to be crispier onion rings and a more golden brown perfection color, add the time to 2-3 minutes.

  • Step 6

Arrange the best onion rings on a plate and serve with your favorite sauce. Enjoy!
