ingredients
- 250 grams Flour
- 1 tablespoons Active yeast
- 1 Lukewarm water
- 1 teaspoons Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- Frying oil
- chopped Walnuts
- Honey
Method
Loukoumades
Step 1
In a large bowl Dissolve the yeast into the lukewarm water. Add the sugar, salt and flour .Mix until batter is thick and smooth. Cover with a kitchen towel and let in a warm place for 30 min.
Step 2
In a frying pan heat the oil and spoon out some of the dough into the hot oil. ( Dip the spoon in the water, so that the batter doesn’t stick on it.)
Step 3
Fry the Loukoumades until golden.Repeat with the rest of the dough. Place Loukoumades on a platter laid with kitchen paper. Drizzle with honey and Sprinkle with cinnamon and chopped walnuts.
