  • 1 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups chocolate chips

Method

  • Step 1

    Preheat your oven to 415°F (213°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

    In a stand mixer, combine the cold, cubed butter and brown sugar. Beat the mixture until it becomes light and fluffy.

    Add the eggs one at a time, ensuring each egg is fully incorporated before adding the next.

    In a separate bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt.

    Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the butter and sugar mixture until well combined.
