ingredients
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1 teasopon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 24 ounces mild fish fillets
- 1 pack flour tortillas
- 2 cups chopped red cabbage
- 1 cup fresh cilantro
- 1/2 fresh lime
- hot sauce
- tortilla chips
Method
Step 1
Add cinnamon, nutmeg, paprika, salt, and pepper together in a small bowl and mix well.
Step 2
Stir into the oil.
Step 3
Spray a shallow baking pan with cooking spray and place fish onto the pan.
Step 4
Pour marinade over fish and let it sit in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Step 5
Remove and broil the fish (about 4″ from the flame) for 3-5 minutes or until the fish is flaky.
Step 6
Once the fish is cooked, place the tortillas in foil and put them in the warm oven for just a few minutes to heat them.
Step 7
Drizzle with freshly squeezed lime juice.
Step 8
Divide the fish and place on the tortillas.
Step 9
Assemble the tacos with your toppings; cabbage, fresh cilantro, and hot sauce to taste.
