ingredients

  • 1 (10 oz) can Tomato Love Sriracha Diced Tomatoes + Red Chilies
  • 1 1/4 lbs chicken breast tenderloins or thighs
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
  • Scallion, for servings
  • Cilantro, for servings
  • Sesame Seeds, for servings
  • Crushed Peanuts, for servings

Method

  • Step 1

    Using a food processor or blender blend together Tomato Love Sriracha, honey, soy sauce, and toasted sesame oil until smooth.

  • Step 2

    Marinate chicken using about 1/4 cup of Tomato Love Sriracha honey sauce for at least 30 minutes.

  • Step 3

    Whisk in cornstarch to the rest of the sauce.

  • Step 4

    Heat 1-2 tablespoons of oil in a heavy bottom pan. Sear chicken on both sides until brown, approximately 2 minutes per side. Remove chicken from pan and set aside.

  • Step 5

    Add reserved sauce to pan and cook on medium low until sauce has reduced and thickened enough to coat the back of a spoon.

  • Step 6

    Add chicken back into sauce and cook for a few minutes until chicken is cooked through.

  • Step 7

    Garnish with sesame seeds, crushed peanuts, chopped scallions, and cilantro if desired before serving.
