ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups oat milk
  • 2 shot of espresso
  • 1 teasopon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream
  • 2 gingerbread cookies

Method

  • Step 1

    In a small saucepan, heat the milk, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, maple syrup, and molasses over medium heat until it begins to smoke. Don't let it boil.

  • Step 2

    While the milk is heating, pour the hot coffee or espresso into the cup and stir to combine with the milk, once the milk is steaming, remove it from the heat.

  • Step 3

    Froth the milk with an immersion blender, frother, or by shaking it vigorously in a tightly closed jar for about 30 seconds.

  • Step 4

    Slowly pour the foamed milk into the mug to create a creamy layer on top of the coffee and syrup mixture.

  • Step 5

    Top the latte with whipped cream, if desired, and sprinkle a pinch of ground cinnamon for an extra touch of flavor and garnish with a gingerbread cookie, and ENJOY!
