"Shopping local has always been important to me! Now, more than ever, it's great to see a familiar face at the store, and keep $ in my community by picking up essentials (and my weekly treats) at so many of Brooklyn's local grocers. | #ad @cascadianfarm @thefeedfeed Not as easy as shopping local? Making a healthy breakfast. But thanks to Cascadian Farms' new as #PoweredByPlants frozen blends, that just got so much easier. These blends of always USDA organic, whole ingredients are unseasoned so they're super versatile for a breakfast skillet or breakfast burrito on the fly. Check out my recipe on @FeedFeed! Method

  • Step 1

Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a cast iron skillet. When glistening, add Cascadian Farm Organic Frozen Powered By Plants Farro, Sweet Potatoes, Black Bean and Spinach, stir, and cook until browned.

  • Step 2

While the veggies cook, heat remaining 2 tablespoons oil in a nonstick skillet. Once hot, add eggs. Cook uncovered for five minutes, or until whites set and outer edges brown. Remove from heat. Alternately, you can choose to soft boil, poach or scramble the eggs.

  • Step 3

Drizzle hot sauce and tahini on top of veggies. Gently slide eggs on top. Add avocado, cheese, and fresh herbs, if desired. Serve immediately seasoned with salt and pepper to taste.
