ingredients

Cinnamon & Almonds

  • 120 gram dates
  • 80 gram blanched almonds
  • 1 tablespoons peanut butter
  • pinch salt
  • 1 tabelspoons cinnamon

Method

  • Step 1

Place all of the ingredients in a bowl and blend it together until until a sticky paste forms. It should resemble a somewhat moist, sticky dough that holds together when lightly squeezed. Some small visible chunks of ingredients are totally ok! If your dates are too dry, you can soak them in hot water for 10 minutes before blending to soften.

  • Step 2

Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough into your hand and roll into a bite-sized balls. Now you can roll the balls into a plate of cocoa powder to coat or leave as is!

  • Step 3

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days!

  • Step 4

PRO TIP: Because these energy balls are so simple, it’s important to use high quality ingredients. Each ingredient really retains it’s flavor and with no added sugar or flavorings there’s nothing to mask a low quality peanut butter or dates.
