ingredients

  • 1/2 cup nut or seed butter
  • 3/4 cup pitted dates
  • 1/2 cup ground flax
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup hemp hearts
  • 1/4 cocoa nibs
  • 1/2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons cardamom
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 cup dried unsweetened coconut flakes (reserve ¼ cup for topping)
  • *If mixture is too dry to form solid truffles, add a little bit of water/or fruit juice at a time, if mixture is too liquidy to roll add more dates)

Method

  • Step 1

    Blend all ingredients in a food processor

  • Step 2

    Using your hand roll the mixture into tiny truffles about 1 and ½” in diameter

  • Step 3

    Coat with coconut flakes
