Creamy Dark Chocolate Truffles

  • 2 avocados
  • 5 1/ 2 ounces dark chocolate
  • 1/ 4 cup coconut cream
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/ 2 cup cacao powder


  • Step 1

    Gently melt the chocolate and let it cool for a few minutes. Place avocados, coconut cream and maple syrup in a blender and blend until smooth. Add the melted chocolate and blend again until fully combined. Pour into a bowl and place in the fridge for a few hours or overnight until it sets.

  • Step 2

    Once it has become firm, scoop out about 3 teaspoons of the truffle mixture and quickly roll it between your hands to form a ball. Drop the truffles into the cacao powder and roll around until completely coated. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
