ingredients

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 500 gram minced beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1/2 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup mixed frozen vegetables
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tbsp chilli sauce
  • 2 tbsp green onions, finely chopped

Method

  • Step 1

    Heat oil in a large frying pan or wok over high heat. Add the minced beef, garlic, ginger and red onion, fry until browned. Add in mixed vegetables, season with salt and pepper and cook for another 8-10 minutes until vegetables are cooked through.

  • Step 2

    Add in cooked rice and stir through. Drizzle over soy sauce, sesame oil and chilli sauce (optional) and cook for a further 2-3 minutes. Garnish with green onions and serve. Enjoy!
