  • 1 pound salmon fillet, cut into cubes
  • Kosher salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup coconut aminos
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon arrowroot powder
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Cooked rice, for serving
  • Steamed edamame, for serving

Method

  • Step 1

    Season the salmon cubes with salt and pepper.

  • Step 2

    Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.

  • Step 3

    Add the salmon cubes and pan-fry until crispy on all sides, about 3 minutes per side. Remove from the pan and set aside.

    In the same pan, combine coconut aminos, honey, and ginger.

  • Step 5

    In a small bowl, mix arrowroot powder and water, then add to the pan.

    Bring the mixture to a light simmer and cook until the sauce thickens, about 1 minute.
