How to an Make Herb Sauce

  • 1 cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1/ 2 cup fresh parsley leaves
  • 1/ 2 jalapeño pepper, roughly chopped and seeded if desired
  • 1/ 4 cup fresh lime juice, from about 2 limes
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Kosher salt, to taste


  • Step 1

    Add cilantro, parsley, jalapeño, lime juice, and salt to a blender and puree to desired consistency. Taste and season with more salt if necessary.

Blitz up a batch of this punchy herb sauce to liven up your meals throughout the week. It's perfect as a salad dressing or for drizzling on simple roast chicken. This sauce is the perfect compliment to my easy sheet pan dinner with lamb sausage and Brussels sprouts!
