Today's dinner is gorgeous #potato + #leek #soup 💕 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Having soup for #lunch instead of something carb and fat heavy really helps my #digestion ✭☆✩ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Potatoes provide a range of benefits and can be used in so many healthy ways such as; boiled, mashed, grilled, baked or even in a soup as I have done for dinner here. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Potato is sometimes misconceived as an unhealthy food due to its relation to french fries/chips, however, it is actually beneficial for weight loss if used properly! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Potatoes are actually 70-80% water content and are high in fibre which is great for the digestive system, especially in a soup as I have done here. They also contain a lot of vitamin C with one serving being up to 50% of your daily intake. Today's work lunch is chorizo + chicken patty mixed with zucchini + mushrooms + red bell pepper + garlic ✨I put it all into food processor and minced it all together. Instead of buying burger buns I just used rye bread I had on hand, some cheese and home grown lettuce 🍔 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This lunch is a very healthy version of the classic hamburger.
