ingredients

  • 2 cups canned chickpeas
  • 1 cup defrosted baby peas
  • 1 tablespoon tahini,
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Almonds, toasted
  • Sesame seeds, toasted
  • fresh mint leaves

Method

  • Step 1

    Place the drained chickpeas, defrosted peas, tahini, olive oil, maple syrup, Lemon juice, salt and pepper in a blender and blend until smooth.

  • Step 2

    Scoop the hummus out on to a bowl and decorate with chopped roasted almonds, toasted sesame seed and fresh mint.
