ingredients

  • 250 grams Parwal
  • 2 pieces Tomato
  • 4 tablespoons Poppy Seed
  • 2 tablespoons Mustard Seeds
  • To Taste Salt
  • To Taste Sugar
  • Mustard oil

Method

  • Step 1

    Chop Parwal and ridge gourd into slices. Pour oil in pan. Put parwal for frying. Take Poppy Seed and mustard Seeds in a Bowl. Add water. Put it in blender. Chop tomato into slices and put it in blender as well. Grind into paste.

  • Step 2

    As Parwals start changing colour, add ridge gourd slices. Fry them for 2-3 minutes. Add the paste in pan. Add salt to taste and sugar to taste. Cover with a lid and cook till raw smell of masala goes away.

  • Step 3

    Once masala gets cooked, remove the lid. Toss everything. Drizzle dollops of mustard oil and finish cooking.
