ingredients

  • 200 grams Parwal
  • 1/2 cups Potato Shreds
  • 1 teaspoons Jeera
  • 5 teaspoons Mug Dal
  • To Taste Salt
  • To Taste Sugar
  • Ghee
  • Oil
  • 1 pieces Tomato
  • Ginger slice

Method

  • Step 1

    Dry Roast Moong Dal and set aside. Chop tomato and ginger slice and make paste.

  • Step 2

    Pour oil in pan. Temper with 1 Tsp Jeera. Chop parwal into shreds. Put it in the pan. Fry them golden. Put potato slices next after frying Parwal shreds for few minutes.

  • Step 3

    Put Dal next. Add the masala paste in pan. Mix everything. Cook in low flame till raw smell of masala goes away.

  • Step 4

    Add water next. Cover with a lid and cook till Dal gets cooked. Flip in between.

  • Step 5

    Remove lid. Add dollops of ghee and put off flame.
