ingredients

  • 2 cups Semolina
  • 1 cups Coconut (Dessicated)
  • 200 diced Solid Jaggery
  • pinch Salt
  • 1 cups Liquid Gur
  • 2 teaspoons Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 cups Rice Bran Oil

Method

  • Step 1

    Take a pan. Put Dessicated coconut in pan. Toss it gently in medium flame. Add the solid Jaggery. Mix well and fry gently. Fry till the coconut mixture statys juicy. Set aside and let it cool.

  • Step 2

    Take suji/semolina in a bowl. Wash it with cold water. Drain out the water. Pour water again and set aside for 30 minutes. Add 2 Spoon Whole Wheat Flour in the mixture after 30 minutes. Whip well. Add pinch of salt and 3 tsp Gur. Mix well. Batter should be neither too thick nor too runny.

  • Step 3

    Pour oil in pan. Spread oil evenly. Pour a ladle of batter in pan. Spread it. As one side gets fried, put 1 tsp coconut mixture in one corner. Gently flip like a roll. Fry for 2-3 minutes in medium flame. Serve with liquid jaggery.
