ingredients
- 250 g Mutton
- 2 teaspoons Turmeric Powder
- 2 tablespoons Curd
- 2 tablespoons Ginger Juice
- 2 teaspoons Garam Masala Powder
- To Taste Salt
- To Taste Sugar
- 2 pieces medium Tomato
- 2 pieces medium Onion
- 8 pieces Cashew Nuts
- 1/2 cups Mustard Oil
Method
Step 1
Wash mutton pieces in Lukewarm water. Take out from the water, marinate with mixture of ginger juice and 1 Tsp Turmeric Powder. Marinate for 2 hours.
Step 2
Chop the tomato and onion. Put the tomato slices in pan. Fry them. Add the cashew nuts. After dry Roasting for few minutes, set aside the mixture. Next pour oil in pan. Add the chopped onion slices.
Step 3
Fry them golden. Add the tomato - nut mixture. Fry them for few minutes. Set aside after frying and let it cool. Put the mixture in blender and make paste.
Step 4
Temper the same oil with 1 tsp sugar. Put the masala paste. Stir for few minutes. Add salt to taste, 1 Tsp Turmeric Powder. Add the curd paste. Mix everything. Cook for few minutes.
Step 5
Add the marinated mutton pieces. Coat them well with the masala. Cook for few minutes. Add water. Let it cook for few minutes.
Step 6
Once mutton softens, and water dissolves with the masala, curry is ready to serve. Add dollop of ghee and finish cooking.
