A Note from Feedfeed

A quick and easy weeknight meal, we love how easy it is to throw together this vegetarian Indian dish. Serve with a side of Basmati rice.

ingredients

  • 250 grams Kabuli Chana
  • 1 pieces sliced Onion
  • 1 pieces sliced Tomato
  • 200 grams Soyachunks
  • 1 teaspoons Turmeric powder
  • To Taste Salt
  • 2 Cardamom pods
  • Clove

Method

  • Step 1

    Boil Kabuli Chana and Soyachunks. Chop tomato, onion and ginger. Pour oil in pan. Put the onion, tomato and ginger. Fry them golden and let it cool.

  • Step 2

    Transfer onion, tomato and ginger into blender and make paste. Temper the same oil with sugar. Put the Soyachunks in pan. Fry them. Add Kabuli Chana next. After frying for few minutes, add the masala paste.

  • Step 3

    Add salt to taste. Cook till raw smell of masala goes away. Add water once masala gets cooked. Toss everything. Once water absorbs the flavour, put off flame.
