ingredients

  • 1 chopped + divided Papaya
  • 1 divided Potato
  • 1 Tomato
  • Ginger slice
  • Chilli
  • 1 pieces Dry red chilli
  • 2 teaspoons Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoons Cumin seeds
  • To Taste Salt
  • Mustard Oil
  • 8 tablespoons Mug Dal

Method

  • Step 1

    Pour oil in pan. Temper with 1 Dry Red Chilli and 1 Tsp Cumin seeds. Chop tomato and ginger into slices. Put it in blender and make paste.

  • Step 2

    Put papaya cubes in pan.( Perboil papaya and potato cubes before putting in pan.) Fry them for 2-3 minutes. Next add potato cubes. Continue frying in medium flame. Dry Roast Moong Dal. Wash them and put it in pan. Fry for another 2 minutes.

  • Step 3

    Put the paste in pan. Coat well and cover with a lid. After few minutes, remove lid and add water. Add 2 Tsp Cumin powder. Mix everything. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Cover again with a lid. Cook for 15-20 minutes.

  • Step 4

    Remove lid. Toss gently and put off flame. It's ready to serve.
