ingredients
- 500 grams Mutton
- 2 pieces diced Potato
- 1 teaspoons Jeera
- 1 teaspoons Jeera Powder
- 1 teaspoons Garam masala powder
- 1 cups Mustard Oil
- To Taste Salt
- To Taste Sugar
- 2 sliced Tomato
- sliced Ginger
- Garlic cloves
- 2 sliced Onion
Method
Step 1
Take mutton pieces in a Bowl after washing them in warm water. Add 1 Tsp Turmeric powder and salt to taste. Add few cubes of onion and garlic cloves. Set aside for 30 minutes. Pressure cook for 20 minutes.
Step 2
Take onion, tomato and ginger and garlic cloves and make a smooth paste.
Step 3
Pour mustard oil in pan. Temper with 1 Tsp Jeera. Add sugar to taste. Cook till sugar becomes golden. Add the masala paste. Starr frying in low flame.
Step 4
Add salt to taste, 1 Tsp Turmeric powder, 1 Tsp Jeera powder and 1 Tsp Garam Masala powder. Mix everything. Keep frying till masala gets half cooked.
Step 5
Add mutton pieces. Coat well. Add potatoes after cooking for few minutes. Add water. Cook till water absorbs the flavour.
Step 6
Cook on High flame for few minutes and serve hot.
