ingredients
- 1 cups Musur Dal/ Red Lentil
- 2 pieces Tomato
- 1/2 inch Ginger slice
- Soya chunks
- 1 teaspoons Garam Masala powder
- 1 teaspoons Coriander powder
- To Taste Salt
- To Taste Sugar
- Mustard Oil
Method
Step 1
Soak Musur Dal overnight in water. Next morning, drain out the water. Put it in blender. Chop tomato and put few slices in blender. Boil Soyachunks. Add half of it in blender. Make paste.
Step 2
Put it in a Bowl. Crush the remaining Soyachunks. Put it in bowl. Add 1 Tsp Black pepper powder. Whisk everything.
Step 3
Pour oil in pan. Put small lumps of batter in pan. Fry them golden and set aside as they become crisp. Make paste of tomato and ginger.
Step 4
Temper the same oil with 1 chilli. Put the paste in pan. Saute for 2 minutes. Add 1 Tsp Coriander powder. Mix everything. Add water once raw smell of masala goes away. Once water absorbs the flavour, put fried Fritters in pan. Sprinkle 1 Tsp Garam Masala powder and finish cooking.
