ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Tur Dal
  • 1 sprigs Palak/Spinach
  • 1 pieces sliced Tomato
  • 1 teaspoons Jeera
  • 1 pieces Dry Red Chilli
  • To Taste Salt and sugar
  • 1 tablespoons Ghee

Method

  • Step 1

    Pressure cook Tur Dal for 3-4 whistles. Pour ghee in pan. Temper with 1 Dry Red Chilli and jeera. Add tomato slices next. Fry for few minutes.

  • Step 2

    Add chopped spinach. Fry them for few minutes. Cover with a lid and cook in low flame for few minutes.

  • Step 3

    Add Pressure cooked Dal once shaak softens Add salt and sugar to taste. Add water. Mix everything and cook for few minutes in low flame. Serve hot.
