Method

  • Step 1

    Pressure cook chicken pieces after marinating them with salt and turmeric powder. Pressure cook for 1 whistle. Take them out immediately.

  • Step 2

    Make paste of tomato, onion, garlic cloves and ginger after chopping them into fine pieces.

  • Step 3

    Pour oil in pan. Temper with dry red chilli and Cinnamon stick. Put potato cubes in pan. Fry them. Add the paste next. Saute for 2 minutes.

  • Step 4

    Add chicken pieces. Coat well. Lower the flame and cook till raw smell of masala goes away. Pour water and stock. Wait till water absorbs the flavour.

  • Step 5

    Sprinkle 1 Tsp Garam Masala powder and finish cooking.
