ingredients

  • 8 tablespoons Red lentil
  • 1 pieces Raw Mango
  • 1 teaspoons Mustard Seeds
  • Curry leaves
  • 1 teaspoons Turmeric powder
  • To Taste Salt
  • To Taste Sugar

Method

  • Step 1

    Wash Dal and put it in pressure cooker. Add salt to taste and pinch of turmeric powder. Cook for 1 whistle.

  • Step 2

    Temper mustard oil in pan with 1 Dry red Chilli, 1 Tsp Mustard seeds and curry leaves. Add chopped mango slices. Fry them. Add water and cook till mangoes soften.

  • Step 3

    Pour Dal. Add little bit water. Cook till Dal starts boiling. Take out in a Bowl and serve hot with rice.
