Recipe Intro From kulas_kitchen
I used to always bake salmon in the oven, but I recently started experimenting with this new method and I am NEVER going back.
Salmon gets cubed, seasoned + then cooked in a hot skillet for a perfectly brown + crispy exterior and suuuuper juicy interior. Safe to say I am *obsessed* 🤩
Add this salmon to Salmon Bowls, Garlic Cream Sauce or Leek & Salmon Soup.

ingredients
- 1 large salmon fillet, skinned + cut into 1 inch cubes
- Drizzle of olive oil
- Drizzle of honey
- Spoonful of tamari or soy sauce
- 1 clove grated garlic
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Method
Step 1
Make sure your salmon is dry before cubing it.
Step 2
Place cubes in a bowl and season - I don’t really measure anything, just play around with ratios you like!
Step 3
Heat a large cast iron or nonstick skillet over medium and add salmon cubes.
Step 4
Cook for about 4-5 minutes, until centre starts to become opaque, then flip and finish cooking for another 3-4 minutes on the other side.
Step 5
The salmon cubes should be nice and browned and the centre just cooked through.
Step 6
Remove from the heat + serve! I love adding this to bowls, salads + tacos
