ingredients

  • A small quarter cup of water + more when needed
  • 2 large carrots peeled, halved and sliced diagonally thin
  • 1 medium sized bowl of sweet potato leaves soaked and rinsed
  • A large tsp of salt
  • 1/4 tsp of ground black pepper
  • Juice of one small quarter of lemon
  • 2 tbsps of grapeseed oil
  • A small handfuls of toasted sesame seeds for garnish

Method

  • Step 1

    Heat a medium sized pot with water and oil. Once the liquids start to bubble throw in the carrots, seasonings and lemon juice. Stir and cook for 5 min or until the carrots are slightly soft and finally add the sweet potato leaves and cook and stir for 30 sec.

  • Step 2

    Once the stew is done grab a lovely bowl of your choice, pour in the stew and garnish it with sesame seeds. Happy Chanukah!!!❤️❤️❤️
