ingredients
- 2 diced onions
- 6 large garlic cloves
- 5 slices of ginger
- 1 green pepper
- 1 bloc of tofu
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon mushroom soy sauce
- roasted sesame seeds
- red chili pepper
- 1 bunch cilantro
Method
Step 1
Add frying oil to a large pan, turn the heat to high, then add the onions and fry until golden (1mn), then the garlic, ginger and red chili pepper (1mn) 🌶
Step 2
Lower heat to medium, dice the green pepper and add to the pan 🫑
Step 3
Immediately add all the sauces, mix well, and cover with a lid for 3mn (I like my green pepper to remain somewhat crunchy)
Step 4
Add the tofu cut into large pieces/cubes (we don't want it to crumble) and mix well so it gets coated by the spices and sauces. Cook for 3mn.
Step 5
Serve with some rice and top with roasted sesame seeds and fresh cilantro
