ingredients

  • 150 gram oat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 150 gram milled oats
  • pinch salt
  • 70 gram caster sugar
  • coconut oil
  • 50 gram glace cherries

Method

  • Step 1

    Mix all the dry ingredients together.

  • Step 2

    Slowly add just enough coconut oil to the mixture to make a stiff dough.

  • Step 3

    Quarter the cherries and gently stir into the mixture.

  • Step 4

    Take a dessert spoon and scoop one spoonful of mixture onto a greased baking tray. Do not flatten down.

  • Step 5

    Repeat until all the dough is used up. Bake for 115 minutes until golden-brown and crispy.
