Recipe Card

ingredients

  • 1 cup raw cashews, soaked in water for 4-6 hrs then drained
  • 1 can unsweetened coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Watkins Organic Original Gourmet Baking Vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon Watkins Organic Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Watkins Organic Ground Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Watkins Organic Ground Cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon Watkins Organic Ground Nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup Baileys Almande or a non-dairy coffee liquor

Method

  • Step 1

    To a blender add, prepared cashews, coconut milk, maple, Watkins Vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, clove and nutmeg. Blend until cashews are pureed.

  • Step 2

    Add Baileys to the blender and pulse two times.

  • Step 3

    Pour mixture into ice cream maker and run for 20 minutes. It will look like soft serve ice cream. Store in the freezer until ready to serve.

Optional: Affogato

  • Step 1

    Turn into an Affogato by adding 1 scoop of Spiked Chai Ice Cream to a coffee cup, top with a shot of espresso.
