Now when using matcha in cocktails, it’s all about balance. Which is why for my first matcha cocktail I used gin. Gin’s herbal and floral flavors pair well with those earthy flavors of matcha. Thus, the I Love You So Matcha Guava Gin Sour was born!"

Recipe Card

ingredients

  • 1 1/2 ounces Gin
  • 1 teaspoon Matcha Powder
  • 3/4 ounce Guava Juice
  • 1/2 Lemon, Squeezed
  • 1/2 ounce Simple Syrup
  • Egg White
  • Ice

Method

  • Step 1

    In your shaker, add matcha, gin, guava juice, simple syrup, lemon juice and egg white.

  • Step 2

    Dry shake, 30 seconds.

  • Step 3

    Add ice and shake, 30 seconds.

  • Step 4

    Strain into coupe glass and garnish with fresh matcha powder.
