Kimchi Queso Recipe

"I’m a fan of tomatoes so I’m using Tomato Love (a new brand from @RedGoldTomatoes found at @marianosmarket) to make kimchi queso. Kimchi and cheese go together so well so why not have a nice dip of kimchi queso for March Madness."

ingredients

  • 1 cup kimchi, chopped
  • 1 bag (8oz) jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon gochujang
  • 1 can (10 oz) Tomato Love Seasoned Diced + Crushed Tomatoes Chili Starter
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Cucumbers, chopped for garnish
  • Fresh Cilantro, chopped for garnish
  • Green Onions, chopped for garnish
  • Tortilla Chips, for servings
  • Kosher Salt, to taste.
  • Black Pepper, to taste.

Method

  • Step 1

    Heat kimchi and pan fry for about a minute. Add Jack cheese, gochujang, and the can of Tomato Love.

  • Step 2

    Stir together until cheese is melted. About 8-10 minutes. Season well with salt and pepper.

  • Step 3

    Remove from heat and stir in sour cream. Mix until well combined..

  • Step 4

    Pour into a serving dish and garnish with cucumbers, cilantro, and green onions. Serve hot with tortilla chips.
