ingredients

  • 1/4 cups extra virgin olive, avocado, coconut, etc olive oil
  • 1 cups bread crumbs
  • 2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
  • 4 cloves minced finely garlic
  • 4 teaspoons rinsed and drained capers
  • 4 tablespoons fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 8 ounces pasta
  • kosher salt for pasta water

Method

  • Step 1

    Cook pasta according to directions; don't forget to salt the pasta water, about a heaping tablespoon or less with do

  • Step 2

    Meanwhile, in a medium pan add in oil, bread crumbs, minced garlic, lemon juice, capers, and red pepper flakes, stir constantly on low heat until bread crumbs become toasted about 2-4 minutes

  • Step 3

    Once pasta is cooked, add it directly to the pan of breadcrumbs and toss to coat.
