Shopping at Whole Foods was such a great experience. When I asked for help finding something, they were right there and had all the ingredients I needed. ingredients

  • non-stick cooking spray
  • 2 tart apples, peeled and cut into small cubes
  • 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cardamom
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 2 cans Immaculate Baking Organic Cinnamon Rolls with Icing
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Method

  • Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a bundt pan or 8-inch cake pan with non-stick spray.

  • Step 2

In a large bowl, combine the apples, 2 tablespoons melted butter, granulated sugar, cardamom, and flour. Set aside.

  • Step 3

Cut each Immaculate Baking Organic Cinnamon Roll into 4 pieces, loosely roll into balls. Toss the dough balls in the apple mixture. If the balls separate, you can reshape them before they go into the pan.

  • Step 4

In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar and remaining ½ cup melted butter and set aside.

  • Step 5

Put half the dough and apple mixture in the pan, then pour half the brown sugar mixture on top. Repeat with remaining dough and brown sugar mixtures.

  • Step 6

Bake for 50 minutes or until golden brown. The edges should be bubbly. Let cool for 5-10 minutes.

  • Step 7

Place a large plate on top of the cake pan, hold firmly and carefully flip to invert the cake. Drizzle with warmed icing and serve.
