Peanut Butter Chocolate Snack Cups

  • 1 cup dark chocolate, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons melted coconut oil, divided
  • 1/ 4 cups peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • pinch salt


  • Step 1

    In a small saucepan, add 2 inches of hot water and bring to a simmer. Place a heat proof bowl over the sauce pan and add in the chocolate. Once it's melted, add 1 teaspoon of coconut oil and stir well. Remove the bowl from the saucepan to cool.

  • Step 2

    In a small bowl add the peanut butter, pinch of salt and the maple syrup. Stir well until combined.

  • Step 3

    In 8 small paper molds, add in each a teaspoon of the melted chocolate and place in the refrigerator for 10 minutes to harden.

  • Step 4

    Once the chocolate has hardened, add a teaspoon of the peanut butter mixture and then cover with the melted chocolate, until all the peanut butter is covered.

  • Step 5

    Take take back to the refrigerator for about 15 minutes, then unmold and enjoy!
