ingredients
- 1 large fresh white cabbage, finely chopped into thin strips
- cups 2/3 cup salt and freshly ground pepper
- 3 fresh bay leaves
- 3 allspice
- ripe and sweet tomatoes a
- cup homemade broth
- 1 onion, peeled and chopped
- 3 slices of bacon
- 1 teaspoon of oil
Method
Step 1
Put the cabbage in a large pot, then gently pour the broth. Add a little salt, pepper, bay leaf and allspice. Cook until tender for about 30 minutes, uncovered.
Step 2
In the meantime, add chopped tomatoes. Finally, fry the onion and bacon in oil and add to the cabbage. Cook for a moment longer until the flavors merge. Serve with bread and plenty of chopped dill.
