ingredients

  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup date syrup
  • 1 1/4 cup old fashioned oats
  • 3/4 cup nut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon Kosher salt

Method

  • Step 1

    Heat a medium sized pot on medium low heat. Once warm, add the coconut oil and chocolate.

  • Step 2

    Once melted, turn the heat to low and add the syrup, nut butter, vanilla and mix.

  • Step 3

    Add the oats and salt to the mixture. Mix until it becomes a dough like texture. Remove from the heat.

  • Step 4

    Line a pan or plate with parchment paper. Using a cookie scoop and roll dough into small golf-ball sized balls and place on the pan.

  • Step 5

    Place the plate or pan in the freezer for 10 minutes or the refrigerator for 20 minutes to harden.
