- 1 loaf of Italian bread
- 1 (10 ounce) can Red Gold Mild Diced Tomatoes + Green Chilies
- 1 head of garlic
- 3 tablespoons neutral oil
- Kosher salt, to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley
- 6 tablespoons softened unsalted butter
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
Method
Roast the Garlic:
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Step 2
Remove the papery outer layers of the garlic bulb.
Step 3
Cut 1/4–1/2 inch off the top to expose the cloves.
Step 4
Place garlic on foil or in a small ramekin, drizzle with oil, cover, and bake for 30–40 minutes, or until garlic is soft and golden.
Prepare Garlic Butter Mixture:
Step 1
